Overview

Company B Settings is a fictional settings area for managing account preferences, workspace options, and notification choices.

Users can:

• Update profile details

• Change workspace preferences

• Manage notification settings

• Review connected devices

• Adjust display preferences

Profile Settings

Profile settings control how a user appears inside the workspace.

To update profile details:

1. Open Settings.

2. Select Profile.

3. Update the display name.

4. Review the email address shown on the account.

5. Select Save changes.

The display name is visible to other workspace members when notes, comments, or shared items show user activity.

Workspace Preferences

Workspace preferences help teams keep shared settings consistent.

Workspace Owners can update:

• Workspace name

• Default language

• Default timezone

• Member visibility options

• Shared notebook defaults

Some workspace preferences may only be available to Owners.

Notification Settings

Notification settings control which updates a user receives.

Users can choose notifications for:

• New shared notebooks

• Mentions in notes

• Changes to followed notes

• Workspace access updates

• Weekly activity summaries

To update notifications:

1. Open Settings.

2. Select Notifications.

3. Choose the notification types to receive.

4. Select Save preferences.

Device Sessions

The device sessions page shows recent signed-in devices.

Users can review:

• Device type

• Approximate location

• Last active time

• Session status

If a user does not recognize a device, they should sign out of that session and update their password.

Display Preferences

Display preferences control how the app looks for the current user.

Available options may include:

• Light mode

• Dark mode

• System theme

• Compact list view

• Expanded list view

Changing display preferences affects only the current user account.

Troubleshooting Settings

If settings do not save:

1. Refresh the page.

2. Check that all required fields are complete.

3. Confirm that the user has permission to update the setting.

4. Try again after a few minutes.

5. Contact support if the issue continues.
