Purpose & Scope
Business OS (databases, templates, pages, guides, and resources) is provided for organizational and informational purposes only. It is not accounting, payroll, invoicing, legal, tax, financial, or other professional software or advice.
Support, onboarding, or troubleshooting is not included unless explicitly stated at purchase.
The system is provided via a Notion link and is intended to be duplicated into your Notion workspace.
Business OS is intended for internal use only and must be kept in a private workspace, except for pages or elements expressly intended to be shared for their intended purpose.
You are responsible for determining whether Business OS and its features are suitable for your specific business needs and circumstances.
No Professional Relationship
Use of Business OS does not create a legal, accounting, financial, tax, fiduciary, advisory, or other professional relationship between you and Laurence Zimmermann EI.
No Guarantees
Use of the system does not guarantee specific results, performance, or business outcomes. Outputs depend on your inputs, implementation, and external factors.
Data & Metrics
Metrics, properties, calculations, figures, balances, and other data shown or tracked in Business OS are functional features for internal organizational use only and are not intended for accounting, invoicing, financial reporting, or other official purposes.
Business OS relies on information entered and maintained by the user for calculations, metrics, and other data presentations.
Data should be reviewed independently before making business, financial, legal, tax, or strategic decisions.
Personal Data
You are responsible for handling personal data entered into Business OS in accordance with applicable data-protection laws, including, where applicable, the GDPR and CCPA.
Laurence Zimmermann EI does not access or control data stored in your Notion workspace.
Data & Privacy Notice
Business OS is an organizational system built for use within Notion. You remain responsible for the information you choose to add to your workspace.
You are also responsible for managing your Notion account, workspace settings, sharing permissions, and user access.
Data stored in Business OS is subject to the security, privacy, and data-processing practices of Notion and any other platforms or services you choose to use in connection with your workspace.

All examples and samples across this system are provided for illustrative purposes only.
They are intended to demonstrate how different elements can be used within your system.
Nothing in these illustrations guarantees or implies specific results, performance, or business outcomes.
Always adapt the examples to your own workflow and consult a qualified professional where specific legal, financial, tax, accounting, or other professional advice is required.
Tutorials & Guidance
Tutorials, examples, discussions, posts, videos, or other guidance provided by Laurence Zimmermann EI through Business OS, social media, online platforms, communities, or other channels are for general guidance only.
Customizations
You are responsible for any customizations you make and for any issues resulting from those customizations.
How you configure views, filters, properties, formulas, relations, rollups, workflows, and other elements within Business OS is your responsibility. The system provides structure but does not validate the correctness or suitability of your configuration for your specific use case.
Laurence Zimmermann EI is not responsible for errors, data loss, or unexpected results arising from user-made changes, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not limit liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor affect non-waivable statutory rights.
No support is provided for simple or advanced customization, or for issues resulting from customization, including visual changes or changes to structure, properties, formulas, relations, rollups, workflows, or system logic.
Financial Tracking
Revenue Insights, Invoice Tracker, and Business Costs are organizational tracking tools only, based on user-entered information and calculations derived from that information, and do not generate legal invoices or satisfy accounting, tax, or other regulatory obligations.
Use certified or otherwise appropriate tools where required, and consult a qualified professional where necessary.
You are responsible for meeting any regulatory requirements that apply to your business.
Time Logs
Time Logs rely on manual user entries and do not include built-in timers.
They are provided for planning, organization, and productivity insights only and are not certified timesheets, time clocks, payroll records, attendance systems, or other records or systems required by applicable law or regulation.
Use approved or certified systems where specific requirements such as non-alterability, traceability, or certification apply.
Business Costs – Subscriptions
Business OS does not create, manage, or cancel subscriptions or payments.
Always use the original vendor or merchant platform (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, SaaS provider) to confirm, modify, cancel, or renew any subscription or payment, and to update any related billing, payment, or account information.
The vendor’s or merchant’s system is the only source of truth for your subscriptions, including billing, payments, renewals, cancellations, and any other information related to the subscription or payment.
Any data you track in Business OS is for internal reference only and will not reflect real-time status unless it is manually kept up to date.
Business Costs – One-Time Expenses
Any one-time expense recorded in Business OS is for internal reference and organizational tracking only.
Always use the original invoice, receipt, vendor, merchant, payment provider, or other relevant source to verify the amount, payment status, date, tax information, or any other details related to the expense.
Business OS relies on information entered and maintained by the user and does not independently verify one-time expense data.
Availability & Backups
Notion changes may affect Business OS functionality. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups or exports and for using Notion’s version history and recovery features in accordance with Notion’s official documentation.
Business OS does not include built-in real-time synchronization, validation, or automation beyond functionality natively provided by Notion.
Any external automations, integrations, or services you choose to connect or use with Business OS are configured and managed by you and operate independently of Business OS.
Updates & Changes
Access is provided to the version of Business OS available at the time of purchase.
Future versions of Business OS are not released on a fixed schedule. If updates or new versions are released, customers will receive access to them in accordance with the terms of their purchase. Any new or updated version is provided separately through a link and can be duplicated into your Notion workspace. It does not automatically update, merge with, or modify your existing copy of Business OS. If you choose to use a newer version, you are responsible for manually transferring or migrating any data, content, settings, or customizations you wish to keep.
A link to the Information & Updates page is provided inside Business OS. This page is intended for the purchaser’s own use and provides access to available Business OS versions and related update information. The link must not be shared, published, transferred, or otherwise provided to any other person or entity.
Notion is a third-party platform. Its features, functionality, availability, and plans, including free plans, may change at any time. These changes are outside the control of Laurence Zimmermann EI and may affect how Business OS functions.
External links, including links to Notion guides or other third-party resources, are provided for convenience only. Their continued availability, accuracy, or content cannot be guaranteed.
Licensed Design Elements
Certain design elements incorporated into Business OS may be used under license and remain subject to the applicable license terms and rights of their respective rights holders.
